Exploring Women’s Health Issues in the US Military Reserves using the Social Ecological Model for Military Women’s Health
Role Description: The objective of this study is to explore the health needs, facilitators, and barriers to maintaining medical readiness that female Reserve Component Service Members (RCSM) encounter throughout the stages of the Reserve Component deployment cycle, to include activation, mobilization, demobilization, and non-active phases. The long term goal is to develop theoretically informed, evidence-based guidance for policy decision-makers, leadership, and medical readiness personnel to improve the medical readiness of female RCSM.
