Clinical and Academic Interests:
My current research interests include basic and translational investigation into mechanisms and therapies of acute lung injury and ARDS. My main project focuses on IL-10 and macrophage subsets in a mouse model of acute lung injury.
I have additional clinical and academic interest in sedation and analgesia in the critically ill, sepsis and septic shock, secondary pulmonary hypertension and management of pulmonary hypertension in the intensive care unit, and stress mucosal prophylaxis in the ICU.
