We are interested in the genetic basis, pathogenic mechanisms and phenotype correlations of cardiomyopathies, in particular arrhythmogenic forms (ACM, ARVC, LVNC). Our Familial Cardiomyopathy Registry biobank includes >2000 subjects. Our tools include clinical genetics, bioinformatics, outcome studies, induced pluripotent stem cell models, -omics, cell biomechanics and tissue engineering. I serve as a cardiology mentor.
