overview My clinical interest is juvenile idiopathic inflammatory myopathies - most commonly, juvenile dermatomyositis. I am starting a retrospective clinical registry of the 90+ patients seen at CHCO since 2006 and a prospective registry that aligns with data collected by the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research alliance and other registries. I am a clinician who is good at clinically phenotyping patients and utilizing standardized assessment metrics, but am not a basic scientist. I am willing to collect biosamples and hope to collaborate with basic and translational researchers to ask and answer questions about our patient population at CHCO and nationally.
