Overview This project is a service grant that will establish Children’s Hospital Colorado as a Hospital Based Violence Prevention program utilizing a 3-pronged approach. 1) Establishing the At-Risk Intervention and Mentoring (AIM) program to CHCO, working with assault injured youth in the Emergency Department; 2) Establishing the Adolescent Medicine Clinic as a venue to assess and treat violence involved youth, utilizing an LCSW to coordinate services and 3) linkage to an evidence-based intervention, Functional Family Therapy to treat higher risk youth.
