Pan Northern Data Project, Health & Social Services, Territorial Social Programs, Northwest Territories Phase III
Biography Overview The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) Child Maltreatment section within the Centre for the Prevention of Chronic Diseases is responsible for addressing child maltreatment surveillance in Canada. Current circumstances provide a unique opportunity for collaboration in the development of systems and surveillance in a pro-active and planned manner through an inter-jurisdictional project developed to enable the Northern tier territories (Nunavut, North West Territories, and Yukon) to collectively assess data requirements and produce a common pan-northern administrative dataset.
