Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine (PRiSM) Annual Conference
Biography Overview Pediatric sports medicine is a rapidly evolving field that contains many unique elements within clinical care and research, given that many pediatric sports injuries and conditions are unique to young athletes and do not occur in other age groups. The Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine (PRiSM) Society is dedicated to the care of pediatric and adolescent athletes, and our annual meeting provides a unique space for researchers, clinicians, and trainees from a variety of different backgrounds to gather and discuss barriers to clinical practice and ways to best address them. Through our unique approach to understanding condition-specific injuries and conditions within youth athletes and developing collaborative multi-site research projects (Research Interest Groups), the PRiSM annual meeting is a forum where interdisciplinary collaborations begin, grow, and produce meaningful advancements in the field.
