It recognizes and binds phosphorylated signals in several proteins involved in CELL PROLIFERATION and targets them to the SCF complex for UBIQUITINATION. Targets include CYCLIN E; PROTO-ONCOGENE PROTEINS C-JUN; PROTO-ONCOGENE PROTEINS C-MYC; and JNK MITOGEN-ACTIVATED PROTEIN KINASES.
